Lines of Thought films
A series of films has been specially commissioned to mark the University Library’s 600th anniversary and to accompany the Lines of Thought exhibition. Each month for the duration of the exhibition a new film will launch, discussing one of the themes.
This introductory film gives an overview of the whole exhibition.
The first specialistĀ film features Keeper of Manuscripts Dr Suzanne Paul discussing the theme of communication.
The second specialist film on the theme of Gravity is presented by Adam Perkins, Curator of Scientific Manuscripts.
The third film, presented by Rare Books Specialist William Hale, discusses the theme of Religion.
The fourth film on the theme of Genetics is presented by Dr Alison Pearn, Associate Director of the Darwin Correspondence Project.
The fifth film features Whipple Librarian in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science Anna Jones, discussing the material and ideas of the theme of Anatomy.
