The unread novels

The 17-storey tower of Cambridge University Library contains thousands of novels written in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, many of which have beautifully illustrated covers and dust jackets. Some of these stories have never yet been read; they await their moment and the right person to find what lies within.

To find out more about these fantastic books, and the other books on every subject under the sun from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, visit the Tower Project Blog.  You’ll find posts written about a huge range of subjects, from Fortune-telling to Tennis and from Valentine’s cards to Telephones.
