Curious relation of events explaining how a maiden, native of the city of Valencia, killed twenty people, the first being her two brothers, because they stopped her from getting married; and how she was taken prisoner and sentenced to death when she was dressed as a man and was later released when she was found to be a woman; and the happy end of her life: About Teresa de Llanos.

An example of a woman who, oppressed by her brothers, killed them, and proceeded to twenty further acts of murder. Dressed as a man she rights wrongs done to others, but also responds with violence. When arrested, she reveals herself as a woman, and is thus freed from death by hanging, not because it is thought that any of her crimes were justified.
