The ‘Funeral Pile of the Buonapartean Dynasty’, drawn and etched by John Sell Cotman. Napoleon is shown being carried away to Hell, crying imploringly ‘O spare me a little longer’. Sadly for the peace of Europe, his career was indeed not yet quite over.
