Geminus’s flaps (2)

Thomas Geminus, Compendiosa totius Anatomiae delineatio aere exarata, London: T. Geminus, 1559, after [3v], flap anatomy, woodcut, leaf size 37 x 40 cm, K.7.15.

This view shows the broadside with the flaps raised. Compared to the manikin in the Epitome which contained up to twelve pieces, this paper manikin is much cruder, and conveys basic topographical anatomy in layers.
