This portrait, painted by the Master of the Countess of Warwick, depicts Knyvett at the age of around 26. The painting descended through the Knyvett family until the death in 1950 of Lord Berners, 14th Baron Berners, who bequeathed it to his companion Robert Heber Percy. It was sold at auction in 1999 and purchased by Compton Verney, where it is on public display as part of the English portraits collection.
