The last definitive copy of the collected works of the great French poet and composer Guillaume Machaut, produced under his direction in Paris. His words and music are lavishly illustrated with 118 miniatures. The manuscript was probably produced for a member of the French royal court and was later owned by King Alfonso V of Aragon.
