Copiously illustrated Bible, including key scenes such as this one, a series of seven medallions with Creation scenes and many ornamented initials. Several owners are indicated within the manuscript, the last of whom was John Moore (d. 1714). The manuscript was presented to the University Library after Moore’s death by King George I, in 1715.
