Front cover illustration by Raoul Auger, a successful artist and illustrator who before the war had created advertising artwork for companies like Nestlé and Air France. After the war he illustrated children’s books, working mainly for Éditions G. P. and its successors. There are several books and a gala programme celebrating the Moroccan troops who were part of the French army.
